I’m officially a WC Nestie and a FOODIE!!!

22 02 2008

That has a nice little ring to it, doesn’t it?

You may notice a couple of blogrolls to the right of my blog now. The first one is the WC (What’s Cooking?) blogroll. This little tool has a drop down to all the blogs that the other WC Nesties have! Another one, is the Foodie blogroll. This is a group of many people who share an infatuation with food (cooking and baking too!) with me. Feel free to click away but watch your time or you may lose a few hours reading and drooling over the pictures!!

If you have a food blog, and want to join the Foodie Blogroll, here are the requirements: (written from the Leftover Queen herself)

1) You must display the blogroll some place on your blog where I can find it. Once a month I will try to go through the blogroll and delete the blogs from the blogroll that aren’t displaying it. The reason for this requirement is that to meet our goal of promoting food related blogs on the Internet we need to link to each other. It drives up your Google rank (your blog could potentially be on the first or second page of Google’s search results when someone is searching for information that is contained on your blog) and your Technorati rank.

2) You must have a food related blog (at least 80 % of posts are food related)

3) The blog must be at least 1 month old with at least 5 posts.

For the WC Blogroll, you have to be involved with the forums which is linked here.

Good for you Amy, I’ll be rooting for you. Over the past couple years I have managed to drop a little over 50 pounds. My goal is to drop another 40-50 pounds.
